2023 Annual Review

Foothills Family,

It’s hard to believe all that we have gotten to witness in 2023. We celebrated 25 years as a church in the spring! We got to honor our Founding Pastor, Greg Oraham, and his wife, Liz for their faithful years of leadership. And then, we got to continue building on all that God has done up to this point, as we continued to help more people in the upstate find and follow Jesus. We successfully launched a new campus in Pendleton High School, and we have been building towards the official launch of Foothills Español this coming January! We have gone from one church in one location, to one church in three locations and two languages. And while that’s exciting, the purpose of those launches was to help more people find and follow Jesus. And you will see evidence of the Holy Spirit using you, Foothills, as you see the results! Each number represents people, families, and stories of life change combined from all our locations.

Katie and I are incredibly grateful for the time, talent, and treasure you each invested this year. We consider it a flat-out privilege to call Foothills our church family!

As you go through the report, be sure to take some time to pause and celebrate the work of God that took place in 2023. Psalm 115:1 says, “Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to your name be the glory!”

We’re excited to join the Lord with you in seeing more life change in 2024!

 We love you, Foothills!

Kevin and Katie Robison

Out of all the moments we celebrate at Foothills, nothing is sweeter than watching someone surrender their life to Jesus, and then make that decision public through baptism. We celebrated 144 baptisms at Foothills this year!

Every Wednesday night, our 7-12 graders gather at our campuses to worship, build community, and learn more about Jesus. In 2023, we served 436 students and saw 26 of our students get baptized. Our students served 335 hours in our community during our WKND retreat and Friday night football outreach events. Currently, over 40 of our students volunteer in some capacity on Sunday mornings.

Outreach

Going outside of the walls of Foothills to help people find and follow Jesus is a huge part of our heartbeat. We partner with many local organizations to serve the members of our community, but we also partner with many outside of South Carolina to spread the Gospel globally.

Here are just a few examples of how your support has impacted others:

  • Protecting unborn children

  • Helping those fighting addiction

  • Providing food for the hungry

  • Offering support to foster families

  • Implementing SON Sports at a church in Antigua

  • Providing aid in rebuilding and restoring homes in Kentucky
