Top 5 Things You Need To Know

All of our students in 7th-12th grade meet every Wednesday for UNITED from 7:00-8:15 PM. Doors open at 6:15pm for a time where Students meet and hangout before coming into the Venue for worship at 7pm. We dismiss for pick-up at 8:15.

We do our best to create environments at FSM where students can learn more about who God is, how much He loves and wants a relationship with them, and how they can grow more like Jesus. This is why we sing worship songs, preach a message, and provide opportunities where students can connect with each other and leaders every time we meet.

We believe spiritual growth happens best within the context of relationships. That’s why our goal is to connect each student in a healthy small group where they have a safe place to be themselves, process their doubts and ask questions, get encouragement, and discover how they can apply what they’re learning to their everyday lives. Consistently attending the same service every week is critical for building these relationships with their small group and small group leader. Small groups happen every Sunday night at the Venue (student worship building) for 7th and 8th grade. Small groups happen during the week for 9th through 12th grade at Leaders homes.

We encourage our students to get on a Go Team where they can begin to discover and use their God-given gifts to serve others. Whether they serve in a kid’s classroom, at our local food pantry, or go on a different outreach opportunities, our students get to participate in the work of the local church. This is why we do not have a student services on the weekends – we want them to serve!

We believe partnering with parents is the best way to raise a personal faith in the next generation. That’s why we want to partner with you to support the family, provide resources, and answer any questions that you may have. We would love to hear from you! You can email us and you can check out our parent resources at the bottom of the page.

UGroups: Small Groups

Our number one goal at FSM is to connect every student in a healthy small group. The reason this is a big deal to us is that we know that people need people. That’s how God designed us. We also know that spiritual growth happens best in the context of relationships, and it doesn’t happen on accident. When we connect students in a healthy small group, they have a person who cares and a place to belong. Not only that, they have a built-in support system of people who they can share their story with, keep them accountable, help them process their doubts, and encourage them as they take their next step in their walk with Christ.

If you are not currently connected in a healthy small group, we can fix that! Simply contact us and we will get you connected with a small group this week!

Parent FAQ’s

Doors to the building open by 6:150PM, and service starts at 7:00 PM. We dismiss at 8:15PM and we close the doors at 9:00 PM.

Yes, you can just drop them off and we will take good care of them. If it is their first time here, we will connect them with one of our registration volunteers who can walk them through the process.

When you pick them up, you’ll drive through the front of the of the building to our parent pick up parking lot on the side of The Venue. You can connect with your student from your car to come outside, or you can come inside and we will help you track them down.

Parents are always welcome at UNITED. However, we would ask that you give us a heads up that you’re coming so that we can be prepared for your arrival. You can email us anytime to set it up.

For the safety of your kids, we don’t just let anybody and everybody who wants to come hang out at UNITED in the doors, so there will be a few security protocols that we will ask you to follow.

Recent studies show that 70% of students will walk away from the church when they graduate high school. That’s an alarming statistic! At FSM, we exist to introduce students to the Real Jesus and eradicate that 70%. That being said, if you like what you see and want to be a part, we would love to have you join our team and serve with us! We are always looking for adults who care about students and can be a positive influence in their lives. To find out more about joining our team, contact us today!
